Who handles your purchase
Where checkout is provided by Paddle, Paddle is the authorized reseller and merchant of record. Your payment transaction is between you and the applicable Paddle entity. Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy govern transaction cancellations, withdrawals, and refunds.
FOUS VENTURES LLP, trading as MetaPresence, supplies and supports the product. We can investigate delivery or product issues and provide Paddle with information needed to resolve a billing request, but we do not send payment refunds outside Paddle for a Paddle transaction.
Subscription cancellation
You may cancel a subscription at any time. For a Paddle purchase, use the “Manage subscription” link in the transaction email or sign in to the Paddle customer portal. You may also contact Paddle buyer support.
Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You retain access until that date and will not be charged for a later renewal. Cancellation does not by itself refund charges already paid.
Refund requests
Refund eligibility is assessed under Paddle’s Refund Policy, Paddle’s Buyer Terms, and applicable law. Paddle may approve or decline a request and may ask us to confirm product delivery, usage, or the reported issue.
A request submitted promptly is easier to investigate. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, purchasing a subscription, using included capacity, or forgetting to cancel before renewal does not automatically create a right to a refund.
Non-delivery and billing errors
Contact us and Paddle promptly if:
- you were charged more than once for the same transaction;
- the purchased plan was not activated after payment was confirmed;
- a material technical fault on our side prevented delivery and we could not restore or replace the affected service within a reasonable time; or
- the amount, plan, or billing interval differs from what checkout displayed.
We will investigate product delivery and, where appropriate, restore access, replace the affected service, extend access, or ask Paddle to review a full or partial refund.
Statutory withdrawal rights
Consumers in some countries have a statutory right to withdraw from certain digital content or service purchases within a specified period. Eligibility, the period, and any loss of the right after access or use begins depend on your location, consent at checkout, the type of product, and applicable law.
Paddle’s Refund Policy explains the withdrawal process that applies to Paddle transactions, including the 14-day rights available to eligible consumers. Nothing in this policy excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights.
How to make a request
- Open the portal from your transaction email or sign in to the Paddle customer portal.
- Choose the cancellation, withdrawal, or refund option available for the transaction.
- For a product problem, email support@metapresence.co with your account email, Paddle transaction reference, date, and a concise description of the issue. Do not send card numbers or sensitive payment credentials.
Approved refunds are returned by Paddle to the original payment method where possible. Processing and bank posting times vary by payment method and financial institution.
Effect of a refund
A full refund may end access to the refunded plan or purchased capacity. A partial refund, credit, replacement, or service extension may adjust remaining usage or the subscription term. We will not delete your account solely because a good-faith refund request was made.
Fraudulent chargebacks, false claims of non-delivery, or abuse of payment protections may result in restricted access while the matter is investigated, as permitted by law and the applicable terms.
