Scope and responsibility
MetaPresence is a product and trading name of FOUS VENTURES LLP. FOUS VENTURES LLP is responsible for personal information processed through the MetaPresence website, accounts, applications, APIs, and support channels, except where another organization acts as an independent controller.
If an organization provides MetaPresence to you, that organization may control the content and account data it submits. In that situation, we process that data on its instructions, and requests about the organization’s use of your data should first be directed to that organization.
Information we collect
- Account and profile information: name, email address, organization, role, authentication identifiers, and account settings.
- User content: prompts, documents, knowledge sources, images, audio, video, voice samples, likeness data, generated output, persona instructions, meeting details, and connected workflow content.
- Usage and device information: feature activity, plan usage, timestamps, IP address, browser, operating system, diagnostics, security events, and error records.
- Communications: support requests, contact-form submissions, product feedback, and other messages you send us.
- Transaction information: plan, subscription status, Paddle transaction or customer identifiers, currency, amount, country, tax status, and billing events. We do not directly store complete payment-card details.
How we use information
- Provide, authenticate, operate, and support MetaPresence.
- Process content and generate the voice, avatar, video, text, and workflow output you request.
- Measure plan usage, administer subscriptions, and maintain account records.
- Detect abuse, protect accounts, troubleshoot errors, and maintain service reliability.
- Respond to support, privacy, safety, and rights requests.
- Improve product quality, subject to account settings, contracts, and applicable law.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.
- Send service communications and, where permitted, product updates. You may opt out of non-essential marketing messages.
Legal bases
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of:
- performance of our contract with you or steps taken at your request;
- our legitimate interests in operating, securing, supporting, and improving the service, balanced against your rights;
- your consent, where requested for a specific use;
- compliance with legal obligations; and
- protection of rights, safety, and prevention of fraud or abuse.
You are responsible for obtaining a valid legal basis and required consent before submitting another person’s face, voice, likeness, recording, or personal information.
Payments through Paddle
Where you purchase through Paddle, Paddle acts as the authorized reseller and merchant of record. Paddle independently collects and processes payment, billing, fraud-prevention, tax, and transaction-support data under its Privacy Notice. We receive transaction and subscription information needed to provide your plan and support your account.
International processing
We and our providers may process information in Pakistan, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, and other countries where they operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws from your country.
Where required, international transfers are supported by contractual safeguards or other lawful transfer mechanisms. Contact us if you need information about safeguards relevant to your account.
Retention
We retain account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to close the account, meet legal and accounting duties, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements. Usage and security logs are retained for periods appropriate to their operational purpose.
User content is retained while needed to provide the service or until you delete it, subject to plan functionality, backups, legal holds, and contractual requirements. Deletion from backups may take additional time as backups cycle out of use.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; receive a portable copy; withdraw consent; and complain to a data-protection authority. Rights are subject to legal exceptions.
Send requests to privacy@metapresence.co from the email associated with your account. We may verify your identity and authority before completing a request. You may unsubscribe from marketing using the link in the message, while continuing to receive necessary service notices.
See our Cookie Policy for information about authentication cookies and browser storage.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, credential controls, monitoring, and provider security measures. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Protect your credentials, limit access to authorized users, and contact support@metapresence.co promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Children
MetaPresence is not directed to children under 18, and users may not create accounts for them or submit a minor’s likeness, voice, or personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to the service, contact privacy@metapresence.co so we can review and take appropriate action.
